Availability for 4-Year-Old's and After-School Students
Infants
Our infants enjoy a setting of their own from the age of 6 weeks to 11 months of age. Our teachers provide a safe and loving setting for these precious bundles from God. During their time with us, they are encouraged to use their motor skills to achieve rolling over to sitting up, as well as crawling. These motor skills also are used to achieve holding their own bottle while feeding to holding small objects. The infants get plenty of tummy time and enjoy being sang and read to throughout their day.
Once they reach 12 months of age, they move into our 12 to 17-month class where the teachers continue working with them and their fine motor skills. Our teachers also begin working with them on their sounds and speech. At this stage, their gross motor skills begin being implemented to help them stand and then walk.
